.A topic of great interest to people in the business world is electronic or e-commerce and how corporations can use it to create more business. In 1998, due to the paucity of ERP experts, the School of Management, in cooperation with SAP and Sun Micro, established the ERP Center. Since then, we have offered ERP courses and conducted ERP research. We train people to become experts in integrating business and information technology.
.The ERP Center is a truly joint effort. In addition to SAP and Sun Micro, the departments of Business Administration, Finance, Information Management, Computer Engineering, Human Resource Management, and Industrial Management are key contributors to the center. SAP provides the software, Sun Micro provides the high-end servers, and the ERP Center implements the systems and conducts the teaching and research. The ERP Center is the first institution in Taiwan to offer turn-key solutions for ERP and e-commerce.
