Scholarship for students to study abroad


Application Period: April 15, 2024 - May 3, 2024

Eligibility:
1. Undergraduate or graduate students from the College of Management who have proof of being from low-income households, lower-middle-income households, or families in special circumstances (excluding in-service students).
2. Must meet the application qualifications specified in Article 2 of the university’s Student Overseas Study Recommendation and Award Regulations.
3. The award is limited to students selected to study abroad at institutions that have a cooperation agreement with the university or at renowned foreign universities recommended by faculty for exchange programs or dual degree programs.

Award Amount and Quota:
1. A maximum of 4 awards per year, with a scholarship of up to NT$250,000 per semester (up to NT$500,000 per year). The duration of the study must be no less than one semester and no more than one year. The actual amount awarded may be adjusted based on the application region.
2. This application is for overseas study during the 2nd semester of the 113th academic year.

Application Method and Required Documents:
Please submit the following documents in order to the College of Management Office:
1. Overseas Study Application Form (available for print from the International Office website: [https://abroad.oia.ncu.edu.tw/student/](https://abroad.oia.ncu.edu.tw/student/))
2. Academic transcript for the completed years of study (including a certificate of ranking and cumulative class ranking).
3. Proof of foreign language proficiency.
4. Parental consent form.
5. Other evidence of personal strengths and relevance to the study plan or personal works.
6. Proof of completion of the student’s overseas mobility training program.
7. Copy of proof of low-income/lower-middle-income/special circumstances family status (must be an official certificate issued by the city or county government) and a list of all income and property for the previous year (for parents and self).
8. Personal statement (including a summary of family situation and scholarship usage plan, etc.).
9. Two recommendation letters (required for dual degree applications).
10. Written consent from a foreign professor to supervise (required for dual degree applications).
