15th Annual Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime Conference by ACAMS

15th Annual Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime Conference - Taiwan's Response to New Generation Risks

- Organizers:
Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance, Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS)

- Event Background:
With the increasing liberalization of international finance and the rapid development of financial products and internet technology, money laundering methods are constantly evolving. The differences in legal regulations across countries have made cross-border money laundering channels a hidden corner for concealing illegal funds, significantly increasing the difficulty of detecting money laundering transactions.
The Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance, in collaboration with ACAMS, has invited senior experts from Taiwan and abroad to share the latest regulations and measures by governments around the world in combating financial crime, trends in money laundering using cryptocurrencies, fraud prevention, effective financial crime prevention mechanisms, and how emerging technologies can enhance fraud detection methods. Topics will also include how banks can safely and securely engage in virtual asset businesses. This course will be conducted both in-person and online to help Taiwan align with global anti-money laundering trends.

- Event Date:
Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

- Event Venue (Please choose one when registering):
