Scholarship for students to study abroad (Application Period:  From November 20, 2023, to December 8, 2023.)


Application Period: 
From November 20, 2023, to December 8, 2023.

Eligibility:
1. Undergraduate and graduate students (excluding in-service students) in the College of Management who have proof of low-income, lower-middle-income, or special circumstances family status.
2. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements specified in Article 2 of the University's Student Overseas Study Recommendation and Reward Regulations.
   - This scholarship is limited to selected students who are going abroad to study at schools with which the University has signed cooperation agreements, or at well-known foreign universities recommended by the professors of the College, for exchange programs or dual-degree programs.

Scholarship Amount and Quota:
1. A maximum of 4 recipients per year. The scholarship amount is up to NT$250,000 per semester per person (up to NT$500,000 per year). The duration of the study period must be no less than one semester, with a maximum of one year.
2. The actual awarded amount may be adjusted based on the destination region.

Application Method and Required Documents:
Please prepare and arrange the following documents in order, and submit your application to the College of Management Office:
1. Overseas Study Application Form (Please download and print from the International Office website: https://abroad.oia.ncu.edu.tw/student/).
2. Transcript for the current academic year (including proof of ranking and cumulative academic performance ranking within the department).
3. Proof of foreign language proficiency.
4. Parental consent form.
5. Other documents that demonstrate individual strengths and are relevant to the study plan, such as proof of skills or personal works.
6. Proof of completion of the Student Overseas Mobility Training Program.
7. Photocopy of the low-income/lower-middle-income/special circumstances family certificate (issued by the county or city government), and please attach the previous year's household income and property declaration list from the National Taxation Bureau (including father, mother, and applicant).
8. Autobiography (including a summary of family circumstances and a plan for using the scholarship).
9. Two letters of recommendation (required for dual-degree program applicants).
10. Written confirmation from a foreign professor agreeing to supervise (required for dual-degree program applicants).
