"2023 Excellent Talent Scholarship by Yuanta" - Applications Now Open! (Deadline Extended to September 28, 2023)

Application Period: Extended to September 28, 2023 (Thursday) by 5:00 PM.

### Eligibility:
- University and Master's students from families with financial difficulties.
- Average academic performance and conduct/deportment grades of 80 or above in the previous academic year, with no disciplinary records.
- Proof of financial difficulties is required, such as low-income household certificate, middle- to low-income household certificate, exemption from income tax, emergency assistance certificate, etc.
- Students who have already received other scholarships for the current academic year are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- If there is a confirmed need for financial aid from the school, please provide a recommendation letter from the school. (Applicants should arrange for a teacher to write the recommendation letter themselves).
- Special consideration may be given for other exceptional achievements, even if the second condition is not met.

### Application Process and Required Documents:
Please prepare and organize the following documents in order and submit them to the School of Management Office (Room 608, Zhi-Xi Building). The application materials will be sent by the School of Management Office to the foundation. The school can recommend one student from the Master's program and one from the undergraduate program for further review by the foundation.

1. Scholarship Application Form.
2. Transcript of the previous academic year (if grades are reported in letter grades, please include a conversion table; for first-year undergraduates and Master's students, provide high school senior year and university fourth-year transcripts, respectively).
3. Autobiography.
4. Recommendation Letter from the school (Applicants should arrange for a teacher to write the letter; first-year undergraduates and Master's students should provide one recommendation letter from their previous school and one from the current school).
5. Copy of Student ID (front and back; must be stamped with the current academic year’s first-semester registration stamp; if the ID does not have a registration stamp, please provide a certificate of enrollment).
6. Copy of ID Card (front and back).
7. Proof of Financial Difficulty, such as low-income household certificate, middle- to low-income household certificate, exemption from income tax, emergency assistance certificate, school certificate, or any document recognized by the foundation.
8. Personal Data Protection Privacy Statement.
9. Scholarship Application Affidavit.

### Number of Awards and Scholarship Amount:
- Undergraduate Program:
  - The school can recommend 1 student. The scholarship amount is NT$200,000 for the first award, NT$100,000 for the second award, and NT$50,000 for the third award.
  - Each student can apply up to three times. The school will prioritize recommending students who have not previously received this scholarship.

- Master's Program:
  - The school can recommend 1 student. The scholarship amount is NT$200,000, with each student allowed to apply only once.
